The International Animal Rights Gathering plays a vital role in  promoting international cooperation between activists, helping to strengthen ties and plan campaigns, and enabling activists from different countries to exchange ideas, tactics, skills, news and information. Many of the great advances we have made in the past 10 years have been a direct result of the gatherings bringing activists together.

The gatherings have also been very important in helping to spread the message of animal liberation to countries where the movement is not yet established.

Activists in Norway have agreed to organise this year's Gathering, but it is important that everyone gives their support in any way they can. It costs a lot of money to put on a gathering for hundreds of activists from tens of countries over 4 days. Whether or not you can make the gathering, please show your support for this project by sending a donation, however big or small, to help make this year's gathering a success.
